Adair Turner: Environmental Speaker

Adair Turner, or Lord Turner is the Chairman of the Government's Climate Change Committee in the UK. He is also the Chairman of the regulatory body which oversees the UK financial services industry: the Financial Services Authority. He is also a Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics and at Cass Business School, City University.

The Financial Services Authority produced a report suggesting a improvement of global banking regulation in response to the credit crunch and collape of global banking luquidity. Turner will lead the authority as it faces challenges with rebuilding a tarnished reputation.

Ken Livingstone

Ken Livingstone has been the chief executive of the London local governement twice, once as the leader of the Greater London Council (1981-1986) and once as the first Mayor of London (2000-2008). He has also served as a Labour Party Member of Parliment in 1987-2001 for Brent East.
