Will Hutton is a specialist in many areas, including but not limited to globalisation, future trends in economics, the future of employment and how businesses work. It is no wonder that he is currently the executive vice-chair of The Work Foundation.
Hutton joined The Work Foundation as chief executive when it was still named the Industrial Society in 2000. The Foundation aim to improve the quality of working life for everyone, including the success of leaders, innovators and decision-makers.
Hutton is also a columnist, English author and a governor for the London School of Economics, a visiting professor at the University of Manchester's Business School and the University of Bristol, a trustee of the Scott Trust (Guardian Media Group), a visiting fellow at Mansfield Collge Oxford and a member of the Design Council's Millennium Commission.
