Impressed with the Gerry Robinson's common touch

Having watched the latest series of Gerry's big decision; I've been struck by the reaction people that have been watching it and their reaction to him. Gerry's got a pretty high profile these days from the early days of a 'troubleshooter' to the recent what's wrong with the NHS. Gerry, seems to have honed his skills to epic proportions whereby he is now reached a point in life where his knowledge of people and business; in this type of situation a wise old owl.

The empathy that Gerry has shown to people - some very trying people - shows that a compassionate view of others and their stresses and strains, is part of business because business is part of life. Its a though - Gerry is laying down foundations for a new generation of business people, who need to be pragmatic, need to restore the sense of business but are in touch with the values that embody what their customers want.
