Motivational speakers are great at motivating you for random jobs and tasks during the year, but what about new year resolutions?
Well, there's one piece of motivational speaker advice that is particularly helpful this time of year: making to do lists - writing things down.
Something happens when we write things down. We are telling ourselves that this must get done in our minds, but also on paper and therefore admitting to the whole world, as anyone can read it, what you need to do. This openness and honesty to admit that you must, for example, lose weight or quit smoking, provides the motivation required to complete the resolution.
So this year - try writing your resolutions down - in big writing on a large piece of paper for everyone to see. See if you get things done quicker!
