Moscow calling...Social enterprise takes a new route


On the 16th November 2009, 18 months after the last visit Noble peace prize winner Professor Muhammed Yunus. The Mayor of Moscow Yuri Luzhkov, has made some great in roads into creating the one of Russia's first true social enterprise arenas. The Soviet Union, autocratic state approach seems a distant memory and when after 18 months work the reation of a budget that will be spent via the Russian Microfinance Center (RMC) it seems that there is a great chance for the enterprising people and communities in Moscow to make a real steps towards developing enterprises that will in turn produce a lot more money in to the Russian economy and give people the expression and freedom to develop their dreams and ambitions and make their talents grow.
