Often these days we have no time for ourselves and we get caught up in the stress and tension of our daily lifes. This often causes depression, which surrounds a lot of people. We often need a helping hand or a booster to bring some light back into our lives. This is what motivational speakers can provide.
Motivational speakers can provide inspiration for both their audience and other speakers. Motivation is not limited by the audience. Motivation can lift anyone who is depressed or needs a boost. Motivation leads people back into their normal lives, making them happier and more successful.
It is this power that motivational speakers hold which can be so beneficial to staff or employees. If people are motivated, they generally work better, are happier and are more likely to achieve good results. Having understanding and motivation is the ingredients for success.

Making the most of a motivational event
Organising a speaking event requires lots of time, effort and money - so it's best to make the most of it while it lasts. Here are some tips to help you do just that:
- Make sure the speaker understands why you have hired them - the better they understand their audience (your staff!), the more successful their presentation will be for all parties
- Record the presentation - this allows you to use the same event for training purposes in the future. This also means people in the organisation who did not have a chance to attend the speaking event can also view the presentation.
- Find out if the motivational speaker has a book or any other materials to offer your staff further training and coaching

The many uses of a motivational speaker
Most people when they think of booking a motivational speaker think about an event or conference that involves hotels, hall bookings and other catering requirements. In fact, a motivational speaker can be used in other ways which aren't so expensive:
All these types of activities and more can be arranged through the London Speaker Bureau.
- Ask a motivational speaker to record a motivational video for your staff - make sure the speaker knows how this type of technology works
- Hire a motivational speaker to write newsletters or bulletins for your staff - this could include regular articles or small training sessions
- Use a motivational speaker for conference calls - training over the telephone would cut the overall cost

Motivational Speakers on a Budget
Motivational speakers are fantastic for getting staff and employees motivated to do their work better and happier. However, most companies assume that you need a huge budget to support a motivational speaker. This isn't always the case.
Depending on your area and situation, you are most likely to be able to find a speaker that is willing to work for a small, local business on a budget. If you use the London Speaker Bureau, we will be able to source a suitable speaker on a suitable budget for you quickly and efficiently.
You could also team up with another business in the area and share a motivational speaking event or conference which all employees can attend. This would cut the cost again. In conclusion, you can afford a motivational speaker, just use your resources well.

Introducing Will Hutton
Introducing Will Hutton, one of the London Speaker Bureau's economics and politics speakers. He is known as one of the most influential speakers regarding work, employment and organisation within the UK.
He started his career as a stockbroker and investment analyst before moving to the BBC, working both on radio, as a producer and reporter, and on TV, as an economics correspondent for Newsnight. Hutton also spent four years working for The Observer as editor-in-chief, and he currently writes a closely-followed weekly column.
Hutton has also written books, and his most famous is probably The State We're In, which at the time set the scene for the Blair revolution. His most recent book is The Writing on the Wall: China and the West in the 21st Century and his next is a book about fairness.
Hutton is regularly asked to advise senior political and business representatives and comment in the national and international media.
